OUR STORY

Green Tomato Grill opened its doors in 2013 in the heart of Orange, California, on Tustin Street. Founded by Chris Stern and Kyle Markt, the restaurant was born from a simple idea: make fresh, flavorful food that everyone can enjoy. What started as one neighborhood location has grown into a Southern California favorite, with additional restaurants in Brea and Huntington Beach, plus a ghost kitchen in Costa Mesa serving even more guests across Orange County. At Green Tomato Grill, we’re proud to be a part of your community—and your table.

We’re a small, passionate team committed to serving food that’s as nourishing as it is crave-worthy. Everything we make starts fresh—from house-made sauces and marinades to grilled proteins, vibrant vegetables, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Every dish is fully customizable, so you can eat your way without ever giving up bold flavor or satisfaction.

We take every precaution possible to create safe food, however since there is gluten, nuts, shellfish, soy, and dairy on the premise we cannot guarantee any our products are 100% allergen free.
